KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 –NS BlueScope Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BlueScope), a leading coated steel solutions provider, will be celebrating the first anniversary of its industry curated Steel Connect Webinar with a virtual talk by an Australian industry expert come May 28.
Vice-president of marketing, Ken Wong said the upcoming webinar would feature a coating specialist, Fekry Zaky who has 20 years of experience in best-in-class coated steel performance to talk on how to identify the differences of coated steel in the market and tips on how to manage the expectations of coated steel performance.
Fekry will be talking about ways to identify the differences in coated steel in the market, and share his tips on managing the expectations on coated steel performance, said Wong.
He noted that the webinar’s target audience will be the building and construction industry players, especially architects, engineers, and developers.
The Steel Connect Webinar serves as a platform for those who are interested in the latest building standards, steel knowledge and tips and tricks of steel solutions.

The company held its first Steel Connect webinar on May 19, 2020 and since then, the webinar has been held once a month, covering topics like the latest steel design in residential buildings, fire testing requirements for steel cladding and other tips and tricks in design and maintaining steel cladding in various industry segment.
In the past 12 sessions, BlueScope’s series of webinars had engaged more than 1,000 industry players and academia.
The webinars have also reached more than 3,000 peoples ranging from architect, engineer, developers, homeowners, and quantity surveyors.
